Known as the "Evil Monk," Shinmi encountered Rentaro, who had killed his boss and fled, along with his child, Seiichi. Feeling sorry for the child and hesitant to turn them in, as they were on their way to leave the child with his grandfather. Shinmi, who took in Seiichi, sought refuge with "Iwai Kiyosuke," a master of the martial art of "Kito-ryu," but Seiichi's grandfather, Kiyosuke Iwai, having disowned his son, refused to forgive him and coldly turned them away, claiming not to know his grandson. Meanwhile, when Kiyosuke opposed the cockfighting organized by the local bigwig, Goda, Goda attacked Kiyosuke... Thus begins the second installment of the "Monk Series"! Familiar "Evil Monk" Shinmi clashes with corrupt yakuza aiming for the profits of the renowned cockfighting in Kawachi, while exploring the depths of human trust and betrayal.
